Gluten Free Dairy Free - Spaghetti Squash with Meat Sauce

Ingredients:

1 medium spaghetti squash

1 pack of lean ground turkey

1 jar of marinara sauce

1 tbsp Italian seasoning

Dairy Free parmesan cheese, I use the Follow Your Heart brand



Directions:

  1. Add 1 cup of water to crockpot.

  2. Place spaghetti squash in crockpot, cook on low for 8 hrs or high for 4 hrs.

  3. Brown the ground turkey in skillet on med - high heat.

  4. Add Italian seasoning and marinara sauce.

  5. Let simmer.

  6. Take spaghetti squash out of crockpot carefully. It Is Hot!

  7. Place on cutting board and cut in half.

  8. Spoon out all the seeds and discard.

  9. Take a fork and scrap the inside of the spaghetti squash to make the "noodles".

  10. Plate the spaghetti squash noodles and top with some meat sauce.

  11. Add salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle on some Dairy Free parmesan cheese. Add red pepper flakes for a little spice.
