Gluten Free, Dairy Free - Holiday Chocolate Peanut Butter Treats

Simple, delicious, addicting, awesome...this list could go on and on! These yummy gluten free and dairy free "reese cups" are perfect for the holiday season! I make a big batch of them and take them to all of my friends and family holiday parties. The main tip is that these treats need to be served cold. Trust me, you will want to eat them all right away! Ingredients:

1 cup Dairy Free semi sweet chocolate chips, I use Enjoy Life and/or Chatfield's

3 tbsp coconut oil

1/4 cup maple syrup or honey

1/2 cup natural creamy peanut butter

Light colored holiday sprinkles

Chocolate molds, screenshots of the molds I use are below.

Directions:

  1. Melt the Dairy Free chocolate chips and coconut oil.

  2. Add sprinkles on the bottom of the molds.

  3. Add the melted chocolate mixture to the bottom 3rd of the mold.

  4. Place in freezer for at least 2 hours.

  5. Mix the peanut butter and maple syrup together.

  6. Place the peanut butter mixture on top of the harden chocolate to fill 2/3 of the mold.

  7. Place in freezer for at least 2 hours.

  8. Melt more chocolate chips and coconut oil.

  9. Place the chocolate mixture on top of peanut butter.

  10. Place in freezer for at least 2 hrs before serving.

  11. Serve chilled. They do melt quickly.
