Crab Dip - Gluten Free Dairy Free

Recently a friend of mine asked me to just whip up a crab dip to bring to our gathering. It made me think that I needed to post this recipe because it is so easy to make and it’s definitely a crowd favorite.


16 oz canned crab meat

12 oz dairy free cream cheese, I use the Violife brand and Tofutti brand

½ medium onion, diced

4-5 tbsp mayo

2 tsp garlic salt

1 cup shredded dairy free parmesan cheese, I use the Follow Your Heart brand

1 cup shredded dairy free mozzarella cheese, I use the Daiya brand

Old Bay seasoning

Serve with Good Thin gluten free crackers or possibly Schar brand bread.


1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.

2. Add the cream cheese, ½ of the diced onion, garlic salt, ½ of the cheese, crab meat, mayo to a large mixing bowl. Stir until mixed well together.

3. Add the crab dip to a grease baking dish. I use a 9 x 9 glass dish. Sprinkle the remainder of the parmesan and mozzarella cheese and onion on top.

4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted.

5. Top with Old Bay seasoning and serve warm with your favorite gluten free crackers or bread.
